MURFREESBORO, TN — Stones River Mall shoppers and mall employees are receiving upgraded wireless coverage thanks to a new Verizon Wireless cell site. The additional network coverage in Murfreesboro expands coverage along portions of Highway 96 near Stones River Mall and the surrounding areas.

The new cell site dramatically increases data capacity and coverage of Verizon Wireless’ network to account for exponential growth in consumer usage of Web browsing, e-mail, apps, text messaging, media downloads and navigation tools available on the latest generation of smartphones. Visitors to the Stones River Mall will also enjoy unparalleled enhancement in network access and reception – specifically inside the mall – where reception can be more difficult.
