EL PASO, TX — Calling, downloading apps and surfing the Web on the Verizon Wireless network is now easier and faster for residents and travelers in El Paso thanks to four new cell sites added in the third quarter, including:
- Along Montana Ave. and George Dieter Drive, extending into Fort Bliss;
- At the Sun Bowl Stadium and surrounding areas on the University of Texas, El Paso campus;
- Along Lee Trevino Drive in the area surrounding the Vista Hills Golf Course; and
- Near the Cielo Vista Mall.
Since being founded in 2000, Verizon Wireless has invested more than $375 million in its El Paso, Texas and New Mexico network. Nationally, the company has invested more than $65 billion over that same period to increase the coverage and capacity of its network, and to add new services.
The network upgrades are part of the company’s ongoing investment to keep improving and strengthening the nation’s largest and most reliable wireless network.
