Youthville In Kansas Receives $10,000 Verizon Foundation Grant For Safe At Home Counseling Scholarships

WICHITA, KS — Verizon Wireless announced today that it has awarded a $10,000 Verizon Foundation grant to Youthville to help fund the organization’s Safe at Home counseling program via scholarships. For more than 100 years, Youthville has helped thousands of families get counseling by providing licensed clinicians who offer therapeutic services to anyone ages 3 and up.

“Verizon Wireless has a long-standing commitment to domestic violence prevention, and we are again pleased to support the fine work of Youthville,” said Brendan Fallis, president – Kansas/Missouri region, Verizon Wireless. “Youthville’s Safe at Home counseling scholarship program has made a tremendous difference in the lives of families of domestic abuse. We hope this contribution significantly increases the reach of the organization’s services in the Wichita metro area.”

Youthville is dedicated to assisting communities, local shelters and agencies in ending domestic violence, and giving children back their childhood by providing the best sources of help to those who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected.
