Verizon Wireless finished strong in 2011 in the same place it began – as the leader in customer loyalty. Once again, the company reported the lowest customer churn (turnover) rate of any of the major national wireless providers.
Churn is a critical measure of customer loyalty, representing the percentage of customers who leave their wireless providers in a given period. In the fourth-quarter, the average monthly churn rates were as follows:
