KANSAS CITY, MO — Verizon Wireless recently announced it has increased its level of support, becoming Rose Brooks Center’s $25,000 Safety Call partner. In addition, Verizon will be donating another $5,000 for the organization’s 25th Anniversary Cabaret on Sunday, Feb. 26.

“Rose Brooks Center is working every day to make Kansas City a safer place for all families,” says Verizon Wireless President – Kansas/Missouri Region, Brendan Fallis. “Verizon shares this commitment, as do I.” Fallis serves on Rose Brooks Center’s board of directors.

Verizon Wireless stores are now the exclusive drop-off point for donors and volunteers of Rose Brooks Center who wish to donate their used cell phones.

Through HopeLine, Verizon provides refurbished wireless phones and airtime to nonprofit organizations for use by domestic violence survivors, as well as cash grants to local shelters and nonprofits that focus on prevention, awareness and advocacy.
