Dodge City And Garden City High Schools Have A Chance At $20,000 In Verizon Wireless Video Contest

OVERLAND PARK, KS — Dodge City and Garden City High Schools have a chance to win $20,000 from Verizon Wireless for submitting a video answering the following question, “How might 4G LTE change your school, your community and our world?”

Through the Verizon 4G LTE Future is Now Video Challenge, students, faculty and families of these high school students can show their support by voting for their school’s video at www.verizoninsider.com/futureisnow. The school that gets the most votes between March 5 and April 13 wins the $20,000 prize.

The second place school will receive $10,000 and third through sixth place schools will receive $5,000 prizes. Voters will be entered to win a weekly prize, consisting of a Motorola DROID RAZR and a $100 Verizon gift card.

These Western Kansas high schools will be competing against 20 other high schools from Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Wisconsin and West Virginia.
