Dodge City, Kansas, High School Takes Second Place In Verizon Wireless' "The Future Is Now" Contest

To applaud Dodge City High School’s second-place win in Verizon Wireless’ “The Future is Now” video contest, Verizon’s Aaron Omar will be at Dodge City High School on Thursday, May 3, at 9:30 a.m. to present a $10,000 cash prize to the lucky winners. Verizon’s nationwide competition called on select schools to create and enter a video on the topic of how 4G LTE will change their school, community and their world. The winners were selected based on the number of votes their entries received. Of the 21 high schools that submitted videos, Dodge City received 19,697 votes.
