Earlier this week, three new smartphones – DROID RAZR M, DROID RAZR HD and DROID RAZR MAXX HD – were announced at an event in New York City. The Huffington Post noted that all three devices have 1.5 GHz dual-core processors and NFC capability and will run on the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network. Like previous RAZR smartphones, the size and display capabilities drew the attention from people at the event.
CNET called the DROID RAZR M “sleek and compact.” The device comes loaded with the Google Chrome browser and an 8-megapixel camera, and as Mashable pointed out, enough power to stream 20 hours of music on a single charge.
Gizmodo mentioned DROID RAZR HD’s Kevlar backing and highlighted the 4.7-inch, 720p screen. PC MAG weighed in on the design as well as the 32 GB memory and 3300mAh battery of the DROID RAZR MAXX HD. Engadget noted that the upgraded battery allows up to 21 hours of talk time, 13 hours of video playback or eight hours of web browsing.
DROID RAZR M is currently available for pre-order and will be in stores on Sept. 13. The DROID RAZR HD and DROID RAZR MAXX HD will be released later this year.
