ST. LOUIS, MO — Verizon Wireless today announced that customers in the St. Louis area will be able to experience the speed and capabilities of America’s largest 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network in more places when the company expands in several towns west of St. Louis leading to Warrenton on Sept. 20.  With the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network, customers can experience innovative technology in their everyday lives, through solutions such as viewdini and more, all made possible by 4G LTE.

Verizon Wireless currently offers the nation’s largest 4G LTE network, covering more than 75 percent of the U.S. population in 371 markets across the United States.  The Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network is currently available in St. Louis, throughout large portions of the metropolitan area.  Now, with the planned network expansion, residents in areas such as Festus, Old Monroe, Winfield, Hawk Point, Wright City and Warrenton in Missouri and Godfrey, Highland and Trenton in Illinois will have access to the nation’s fastest 4G network, to surf the Web, stream live music and video, and stay in touch with family and friends, all with speeds up to 10 times faster than before.

“With the growth of our 4G LTE network, Verizon Wireless and its partners are able to innovate and introduce solutions that are changing how people communicate and do business,” said Brendan Fallis Missouri/Kansas Regional President, for Verizon Wireless.  “When we expand our 4G network in counties surrounding St. Louis, more area customers will have access to superfast speeds available on their 4G LTE smartphones, tablets and other devices, enhancing communication with colleagues, family and friends.”

Verizon Wireless customers can choose from the largest selection of 4G LTE devices and solutions to experience the nation’s fastest 4G network. On the go customers can watch movies, television shows and other video content on 4G LTE smartphones and tablets with applications like viewdini.  Viewdini brings the power of Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE network to the screen by streamlining access to videos from a wide range of content providers, including cable operators, websites and other popular video sources.  Customers also can take advantage of 4G LTE-optimized applications like Color to share live video broadcasts of life’s special moments with their Facebook® friends.  Sharing live video with audio is an exclusive feature of the Color app on Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE network

Verizon Wireless offers a variety of 4G LTE devices which range from tablets and mobile hotspots to the latest smartphones and more.  The newest 4G LTE devices include the Samsung Galaxy S® III and the DROID INCREDIBLE 4G LTE by HTC.  Details on available devices can be found at www.verizonwireless.com/4GLTE and information on plans and pricing is available at www.verizonwireless.com/plans.
