From October 9-11, industry leaders and professionals will gather in San Diego to discuss the future of mobile IT and the enterprise at MobileCON 2012. Formerly known as “CTIA – Enterprise and Apps,” CTIA is rebranding the show to focus on issues and opportunities in mobile enterprise.

The conference is placing M2M (Machine-to-Machine) communications, NFC (Near Field Communication) and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) at the center of the conversation with multiple panels that will explore each topic.

Machine-to-Machine (M2M) is high on MobileCON’s agenda. Panel discussions will include unlocking market potential, identifying issues and opportunities in the M2M space and the challenges and benefits of bringing M2M to vehicles.

Those interested in Near Field Communication (NFC) will find a plethora of discussions that may be of interest. From mobile commerce to device management to enterprise innovation, the topic will be explored at length amongst professionals in the mobile industry space.

Security issues surrounding Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) to work are familiar to many business owners.  MobileCON will feature discussions that weigh the cost advantages for businesses and increased productivity of using BYOD in the workplace. New research and best practices surrounding the implementation of BYOD programs will also be explored.

Stay tuned for more updates during MobileCON 2012.
