WHAT:
Verizon Wireless and La Nueva’s 103.5 FM radio personality Eddie “Piolín” Sotelo join forces to give back to the community with a special appearance in Las Vegas.
Fans who donate no-longer-used wireless phones and accessories will have an opportunity to meet Piolín and help aid survivors of domestic violence through HopeLine® from Verizon. Phones collected through HopeLine recycling drives are either refurbished or recycled, and proceeds are donated to organizations that work against domestic violence in the form of cash grants and prepaid Verizon Wireless phones for survivors. October is national Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
