HONOLULU, HI — Verizon Wireless has named Eric Reed executive director of sales operations for Hawai‘i. In his new role, Reed will oversee the multi-channel operations in retail, business-to-business, indirect and data, as well as marketing and sales operations.

“Over the years, Eric has displayed excellence in sales and customer service, and we feel confident that he will continue to contribute to the growth and success of the company,” said Russ Preite, region president for Verizon Wireless.

Reed comes to the position with 12 years of wireless industry experience. Most recently, he served as director of business sales for the Southern California region. Since 2002, he has served in various leadership roles in the business sales channel including manager – national accounts, associate director – national accounts, and associate director – business sales. In 2004 and 2011, Reed earned the President’s Cabinet award, Verizon Wireless’ highest honor for sales and customer service.

Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Biola University.
