WHAT:                                 
Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE network is coming to Price and Richfield in Utah on Dec. 20. Verizon Wireless customers in these communities will experience ten times faster web-surfing, music and video, social media sharing and file downloads using the speed and capabilities offered by the nation’s largest 4G LTE network.                            

WHERE:                              
In Price, 4G LTE coverage will extend along Hwy 6 from Power Plant Road in Price Canyon to the south end of Price, including the town of Helper. BACKGROUND:                
Two years after its launch, the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network  offers more 4G LTE coverage than all other competitors’ networks combined, with coverage currently available to more than 250 million people throughout the United States.  On Thursday, Dec. 20, the network will expand to offer 4G LTE service in 470 markets throughout the country. 

In Utah, Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE service currently covers virtually the entire Wasatch Front including the greater Salt Lake City/Ogden area, Provo/Orem, Cedar City, Logan, Park City and more.

Verizon Wireless in Salt Lake City recently earned recognition as the best wireless carrier in “data performance” and “overall performance” from RootMetrics, an independent evaluator of wireless companies.
