Sunday, July 21, is all about summer's favorite dessert: ice cream.

National Ice Cream Day, first recognized by President Ronald Regan in 1984, was created as a day to honor a much-loved treat.  

It should be no surprise how best to celebrate on this special day; the only question is whether to go to the freezer or your favorite ice cream spot for a cool summer treat.
