In today’s social world, capturing and sharing video is more important than ever. And no one wants to share a blurry, shaky video with a bunch of background noise. Having the right smartphone to shoot video makes the difference.

The exclusive Nokia Lumia Icon running Windows Phone 8 enables sharing of HD video with social followers. The 20-megapixel PureView camera records in 1080p and lets users zoom using one finger without losing resolution, meaning less grainy videos.

But megapixels aren’t everything when capturing video. The Lumia Icon also has Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) to help eliminate that shaky video experience. And four digital mics record undistorted stereo sound while reducing background noise. Vloggers and Vine users can spend less time reshooting their videos and more time working on their next projects.

When it comes to capturing pictures, however, the smartphone features Zeiss® optics to help users get the shot they want, when they want it. No more saying, “Wait, one more, that one was blurry,” or “Why is it so dark?” Having the right camera means photo takers can say “got it” and move on to the next shot, and 4G LTE connectivity allows for real-time tweeting and posting of those moments to Instagram as they happen.

Additionally, users can bring out their artsy sides and edit photos using the Creative Studio app on the smartphone for a personalized picture experience. Features of the app include adding focus blur or color pop effects and creating collages to share with friends.

Photos aren’t the only thing that can be personalized. Windows Phone 8 helps users customize their Start Screens with Live Tiles and the apps they want. It also works seamlessly at no cost with other Microsoft products such as Microsoft Office, Xbox, SkyDrive and Skype.

The Nokia Lumia Icon also has a 5-inch Full HD display with Nokia ClearBlack technology so users can still see their pictures and emails in direct sunlight. The 2420mAh battery provides long-lasting power and includes support for wireless charging, while the 2.2GHz quad-core processor lets users multitask with email, games, videos and more.

The Global Ready™ Nokia Lumia Icon will be available starting Feb. 20 online and in stores for $199.99 with a new two-year activation. The Verizon Edge program is also available for eligible customers who want to upgrade.
