The Device Lab: The Tests that MAKE the Connection

Without the ability to reliably communicate with its network, a wireless device is just an expensive paperweight.

Without the ability to reliably communicate with its network, a wireless device is just an expensive paperweight. Calls and data sessions may not connect successfully and – no surprise here – the customer experience is not a good one.

This video offers an inside look at the Antenna Chamber in the Verizon Wireless Testing Lab, a small room that provides answers to some big questions.

Using real-life simulations, we test how every Verizon Wireless device communicates with our network. These tests help to identify any issues which could impede a call or data connection, which we use to work with the device manufacturer to improve performance and ultimately offer the type of experience every Verizon customer expects and deserves.
