Work hard, play hard. For those whose days take them far beyond the confines of a desk or office, one thing’s for sure: you want a phone that gets the job done and doesn’t mess around.  Verizon Wireless introduces the DuraXV by Kyocera, the tough-all-over feature phone that’s durable, easy to use and worry free.

DuraXV is perfect for active people who want to stay connected and get things done, but don’t need the fuss of a smartphone to make it happen. The DuraXV by Kyocera is now available online and in Verizon Wireless stores for $99.99 with a new two-year activation.

Built for extreme conditions, the DuraXV boasts an ultra-rugged design and is certified to Military Standard 810G and IP68 to resist dust, shock, extreme temperatures and water immersion for up to 30 minutes in up to six feet of water. The DuraXV holds up against drops, spills, tumbles and virtually anything else that comes its way.

This phone provides both functionality and durability through its smartly designed, super-resilient build. The large, tactile keypad and buttons make it easy to use with gloved fingers or hearty hands. Convenient top keys give quick access to activate the speaker phone and end calls. Audio is just as important, the DuraXV includes Kyocera Smart Sonic Receiver and dual front speakers which allow you to hear calls clearly even in noisy environments or outdoor job sites. Plus, the internal and external displays allow for improved readability outdoors.

The toughness of this feature phone doesn’t end there. The DuraXV is work-ready, providing extreme toughness without sacrificing power or features. Certified for use in hazardous work locations (Non-incendive, Class I, Division 2, Groups A-D, T4), this phone can go virtually anywhere. And it is equipped with a five-megapixel autofocus camera and video camcorder, allowing you to document whatever comes your way. For those whose work prohibits cameras, a non-camera version of DuraXV is available.

Wherever your job – or your adventures – take you, the DuraXV helps you stay connected and productive with Mobile Web, VZ Navigator for GPS and voice-command phone navigation. Get a good look at the DuraXV by Kyocera and see a complete feature list online.
