Rated 5 out of 5Â by PSR2014 No more Andriod for me
Ok I'm one of those guys who swore by the Android. It was my first phone and I kept it for several years. One of the issues I kept running across with the Andriod was all the stuff I did't need. There was always something running in the background draining the battery, I downloaded zap killers and the like but I soon got tired of going in and force stopping things I just didn't need. Granted there are people who need all the stuff of an Android I guess it's the never ending debate like MAC vs PC. Well I love the simplicity of the iPhone , it has what I need and what isn't there I just download from the app store. The screen size is the same as my past Driod and the screen resolution is much better. I also got rid of my outdated PC and went to a MAC so now I have everything synced up with the rest of the family. I guess the only downer is the battery isn't as good as the Samsung but it's not a deal breaker. Get what works for you, if you like things to be simple then the iPhone is probably what you'll enjoy. Oh, and get the 64 GB, people that have the 16GB wish they had, spring for the extra $ it is well worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by gran24 The features available seem limitless.
I'm 77 years old; I left a flip phone for my iPhone! Learning to use it has been much easier than I had imagined. Texting is simple and the camera is amazing. The clerk was very helpful at the time of purchase with getting me familiar with the basics.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by dday408 A very nice phone indeed
Before I pre-ordered this iPhone 6, part of me was thinking about iPhone 6+ for its better battery life. As a heavy user, I make many phone calls, use Waze (GPS navigation), check email, operate stock trades, browse websites, etc, and my old iPhone 5S battery would be almost out by noon time. Now with the same thing I am doing, if not more, my iPhone 6 still has about 50% battery at noon. The phone is lighter and faster. I can't say more good things about this new iPhone 6.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Danielle828 Best iPhone yet!
I have had iPhones since basically the first one and so far, this iPhone 6 is the best one so far. The camera is amazing. The speed is fabulous. And the ease of use is perfect. Even my 83 year old grandma is getting the hang of using my phone. Good job Apple!

Rated 2 out of 5Â by DeeLight5 Problems with mute button
My new verizon iPhone 6 keeps muting while I'm on calls. It does this while I'm on my headset and my phone is sitting on my desk! I watched it "mute itself" 8 TIMES on my last call. It also kept opening my contacts. I'm not touching my phone at all while this is happening. This is seriously messed up! Grrrr.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Team4runner Beautiful phone but don't buy 16gb
Just received the 16GB iphone6 but I'll be returning it for a 64gb phone. The IOS8 software on the phone takes up 1/3 of the phones internal space leaving only 11gb for pics, video, music, etc. just don't think that will be enough for me.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Scrambler Significant upgrade
Trading up from a 4S the differences are significant. The battery life is much better. Going an entire day, utilizing calls, web searches, texting and email I have at least 30% capacity remaining when I am ready to charge overnight.
The weight is significantly lighter and the screen is much easier to read. Processing is extremely fast.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by PrtyAvgGuy Very nice smartphone
I am enjoying my iPhone 6. Having switched from Android on a Motorola Droid, I was hoping to understand the attraction to the IOS platform. In short, the Apple product is very sophisticated and smart and all applications and Apple devices integrate well. How it seemlessly integrates with iPad, etc.. is incredible. The weaker point is the User Interface. While intuitive and easy to understand, IOS does not seem to have the color and "extras" that Samsung and Motorola incorporate into their products. Simple things like dual function (punctuation) for keys on the keyboard doesn't exist in IOS. Widgets on Android are also better implemented than on Apple. Each are taking the best from the other and over time will probably be equal though different. So far, I miss some of the customizations I could do with Android, but I am appreciating and glad to be using the iPhone 6.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by addietude I love my iphone 6 BUT....
I was previously an iPhone 4S user. I find that the upgrades made to the iPhone 6 are very noticeable (picture quality, battery improvement, crispness of the screen and the screen capacity). However... my only gripe is that the iPhone 6 constantly disconnects from my Bluetooth in my truck. I have asked other iPhone 6 users (one is a plus user) and they all seem to have the same issue. the phone drops the Bluetooth connection and sometimes reconnects. We all have different vehicles so its definitely the software. Keeping fingers crossed for correction in next update..
otherwise... I Love My Phone :)

Rated 4 out of 5Â by iPhoneUserAZ Enjoying and used to my iPhone 6, as an Android convert
I am working to get used to the features and where/how to access many things on my iPhone 6. After many years of using Android phones, I am working to be efficient in the iOS realm as I have been an iPad and Mac user for years too. I am liking the iPhone very much and love the battery life.
I would recommend the iPhone.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by joeOK87 Another Apple Success!
Got mine on launch day, it is so much faster and more responsive than my iPhone 5. I had it for about 4 or 5 months and it mysteriously crashed to black screen and wouldn't turn back on again. But, as they always do, Apple Store replaced it free of charge in about 10 minutes! This is why I do business with Apple. I didn't get a refurb, it was a brand new iPhone 6 replacement. I'll never use another company, Apple rules!
**4 stars on design because without a case, it is almost TOO thin. Can't hold on to it very well. I had to buy a case with rubber bumpers on it to avoid dropping it. Looks great, though!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Sunshine3 So far
So far I love my phone. I didn't really have a problem with my 5c. I just wanted more gigs and I upgraded to the 6. So far I have no complaints about it. My battery life is drastically better with the 6 which I love.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by karmawizard Larger screen is nice, phone is slippery without case!
Okay, first of all, I would strongly recommend buying a case for this phone before taking the phone out of the box. The phone itself is sleek, but slippery, and impossible to hold without a case. You will drop it, and it will break. The case I got was a Kayscase ArmorHolster that I got on Amazon; it fits the phone like a glove, and you can easily reach all of the ports. However, there isn't a screen protector.
I really love the larger sized, very clear screen that this phone has! My last phone was an iPhone 4, and this is a giant leap forward from that in many respects. The camera is also greatly improved. So far, I'm amazed by the quality of the pictures the phone takes.
Call quality seems to be quite good during the time I've had the phone (about a week now), the voice is clear and crisp, and I haven't had any dropped calls. One thing I also noticed about this phone is although it's set as a 4G device, you can manually switch it to the 3G band to get signal where there might not be 4G coverage. To me, this is a great feature to have, just in case.
Predominantly, I've been using my phone at home on my wifi, and the processor speed of the phone on wifi is quite impressive. I was hesitant about the claims made about a faster processor, but this phone zips along compared to my iPhone 4.
In terms of battery life, I do think that this phone is superior to the iPhone 4 at least slightly. I still need to charge my phone pretty much daily, but the iPhone 6 seems to do a better job of holding a charge than my old phone did. If you're looking for a long-lasting battery that will last significantly more than a day, you'll be disappointed. This is the one very weak point that I hoped Apple would address with the new model. Unfortunately, it didn't happen.
As some users have noted, the phone does heat up until it's quite warm to the touch if you're holding it without a case; however, once it's in the case, I can't even notice any heat coming from the phone. I think a little heat is normal, and so far I haven't seen any evidence of damage or malfunction from this. Just be aware that if you're holding the bare phone, it will get hot in your hand.
In terms of features, I didn't find too many that are different from my iPhone 4, to be honest. There's the fingerprint ID, but I don't use it. The camera is a little different as well, although nothing earthshaking here. I think the main better feature is the larger screen, and that's about it.
If you're looking for something in a larger size, with excellent picture and video quality, this phone is definitely for you. I would recommend it. Just don't expect too much out of the battery or too many other new features.
The one bad thing I did notice about this phone is that the speaker on it sucks! It'll work well enough if you have to take a speaker call or if you're listening to audio playback; it's definitely nothing to write home about, though. I think the speaker on my iPhone 4 was a lot better.
