Installing USB drivers - Windows
- Close any open applications.
- Insert Disc 1 USB driver and Phone Book Manager into the CD-ROM drive then click Install Drivers.
If set up does not begin automatically, click Start > Run, enter D:\Start (where D is the letter of your CD-ROM drive) then click OK.
The driver install may differ from the example but the steps are the same.
- Click OK.
Ensure that the phone is powered on then connect the USB cable to the phone and the computer. The Found New Hardware Wizard should start. Ensure that Install the software automatically (Recommended) is selected then click Next.
If the Found New Hardware Wizard does not start, connect the USB cable to an alternate USB port (if possible).
You may receive a warning about the driver not having passed Windows Logo testing. This message is generated by the Microsoft® operating system. The message is received by many without any impact to the functionality of the Mobile Office software or the operating system, but you should contact Microsoft® if you are still concerned. To continue the installation click Continue Anyway.
- Click Finish.
Some Mobile Office kits install several devices. The Found New Hardware Wizard may run more than once.
- Click Exit.
