Windows® Device Manager Conflicts - Blackberry® Tour™ 9630

Start Device Manager.

  • Windows 8
    • Right-Click Start Screen > All Apps > Control Panel > System and Security > Device Manager.
  • Windows 7
    • Click Start > Control Panel > System and Security > Device Manager.
  • Windows Vista
    • Click Start > (Settings) Control Panel > (System and Maintenance) > Device Manager.
      Note If prompted, click Continue.
  • Windows 2000 / XP
    • Click Start > (Settings) Control Panel > (Performance and Maintenance) > System > Hardware > Device Manager.

Standard Modem
Portable Devices
9630
Ports (COM & LPT)
BLACKBERRY Virtual Serial Port v2 (COMx)
BLACKBERRY Virtual Serial Port v2 (COMy)
Universal Serial Bus controllers
BlackBerry Smartphone
USB Composite Device
Windows Device Manager with installed devices
Note If a red X, yellow ! or yellow ? is displayed to the left of a listed device, a conflict is present and the drivers must be updated or reinstalled.
Note Driver conflicts may also be indicated by a device entry labeled Other Devices or Unknown.
