Set Up Wi-Fi Connection - Windows® 7

Here is some additional information about Wi-Fi. Our Troubleshooting Assistant can help you with other device issues if you aren't currently using the tool.

Note Refer to Wi-Fi Encryption Key/Passphrase for assistance locating the default network credentials (SSID/Password).
  1. Open Connect to a network.
    Note From the system tray (located next to the clock), click the Wireless network icon.
    Note Alternate navigation: click Start > Control Panel > View network status and tasks > Connect to a network.

  2. Click the preferred wireless network.
    Wireless networks will not be available without a module installed.

  3. Click Connect.
    Note If desired, ensure Connect automatically is selected.

  4. Enter the Security key then click OK.
