Reprovision Cellular Data Account - Apple® iPad®

Caution WiFi must be disabled before attempting to reprovision the cellular data account. For assistance verifying that WiFi is disabled, refer to WiFi On/Off.

Note Notes:

  • If a Cellular Data activation fails, the account may need to be reprovisioned.
  • To determine the device software version, refer to View Software Version.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings.
  2. Tap General.
  3. Tap Reset.
  4. Tap Subscriber Services.
  5. If prompted, enter the 4-digit passcode.
    If the passcode is forgotten, the iPad needs to be restored to original default settings. Refer to iTunes: Backing up, updating, and restoring your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch software for assistance.
  6. Tap Reprovision Account.

Note Notes:

  • The reprovisioning process may take several minutes to complete.
  • After reprovisioning the account, verify Verizon and signal bars appear in the status bar then restart the device before attempting activation.
