Memory Card Inserting/Removing - Casio® G'zOne Commando™

Note The Casio® G'zOne Commando├é┬┐ supports microSD (TransFlash) memory cards. A memory card is included and pre-installed with the device. Additional microSD cards can be purchased from any Verizon Wireless retail store or at the online store.

Insert the memory card

  1. Press and hold the Power button.

  2. Select Power off.
    Power off
  3. Unlock the battery cover.
    Note Slide the switch to the free position.

  4. Remove the battery cover.
    Note Starting from the bottom of the device, carefully detach the cover as shown.

  5. Remove the battery.
    Note Utilize the pull tab to lift the battery from the compartment.

  6. Unlock the memory card cover.
    Note Press down (figure 1) then slide the cover to the open position (figure 2).

  7. Raise the memory card cover.
    Note Rotate the cover upward.

  8. Insert the memory card into the memory card cover.
    Note Ensure the card slides all the way into place and that the gold contacts on the card align with the connectors on the device.

  9. Lower the memory card cover.
    Note Rotate the cover downward.

  10. Lock the memory card cover.
    Note Press down (figure 1) then slide the cover to the lock position (figure 2).

  11. With the pull tab facing up, insert the battery as shown.
    Note Ensure that the connectors on the battery align with the connectors on the device.

  12. Replace the battery cover.
    Note Ensure the tabs at the top of the cover slide into place (figure 1) then press down as shown (figure 2).

  13. Lock the battery cover into place.
    Note Press down at each arrow point.

    Note Slide the switch to the lock position.

Remove the memory card

  1. From the home screen, select the applications tab.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Select SD card & phone storage.

  4. Select Unmount SD card.
    Note If presented Unmounting SD card will stop some applications from functioning, select OK.

  5. Press and hold the Power button.

  6. Select Power off.

  7. Unlock the battery cover.
    Note Slide the switch to the free position.

  8. Remove the battery cover.

    Note Slides the card out of the cover as shown.

  15. With the pull tab facing up, insert the battery as shown.
