Email Account Settings (Personal POP/IMAP) - Casio® G'zOne Commando™ (C771)

Warning Effective March 28, 2014, the email icon won't function due to a change in email platforms. Refer to Mobile Email App on Older Phones Discontinued on 3/28/14 and select Email Access Alternative #1 to continue sending/receiving email on your Casio® G'zOne Commando.

Note Server addresses, security information and additional support can be obtained from the email provider.
  1. From the home screen, select the applications tab.

  2. Select Email.

  3. Select and hold the appropriate account.
    Note If the Accounts screen is not presented, select Menu > Accounts.

  4. Select Account settings.

  5. Select Account name.

  6. Enter an account name then select OK.

  7. Select Your name.

  8. Enter a name then select OK.

  9. To set as the default account, select Default account.
    Note Enabled when a green check mark is present.

  10. Select Use signature.

    1. If signature is enabled, select Signature setting.

    2. Enter a signature then select Save.

  11. Select Email notifications.
    Note Enabled when a green check mark is present.
    Note If disabled, continue to step 12.

    1. Select Select ringtone.

    2. Select a ringtone then select OK.

    3. Select Vibrate.

    4. Select one of the following settings:
      • Always
      • Only when Silent
      • Never

  12. If available, select Incoming settings.

    1. Verify the following Incoming server settings then select Next:
      • Username
      • Password
      • POP3/IMAP Server
      • Port
      • Security type
        • None
        • SSL
        • TLS
      • Authentication type
        • None
        • Login
        • Plaintext
      • Delete email from server
        • Never
        • When I delete from Inbox

  13. If available, select Outgoing settings.

    1. Verify the following Outgoing server settings then select Next:
      • SMTP Server
      • Port
      • Security type
        • None
        • SSL
        • TLS
      • Authentication type
        • None
        • Login
        • Plaintext
