Send Picture Message - Apple® iPhone® 4S

Note Notes:

  • This article is for creating and sending an MMS Picture message. Sending a picture by iMessage is done in the same manner. For additional information on iMessage and MMS Picture messaging, refer to Determining Message Type.
  • To determine Device Software Version, refer to View Software Version.

Device Software Version iOS 7

  1. From the Home screen, tap Messages.
  2. Tap the New Message icon (located in the upper-right).
  3. Enter the phone number in the To field.
  4. To send a message to an existing contact, tap the plus symbol.
  5. Tap the contact.
  6. Tap the camera symbol.
  7. Tap the option.

 

Take Photo

  1. Aim then tap the camera symbol to take the picture.
    The volume up key on the left side of the device can also be used to take the picture.
  2. Tap Use Photo.
  3. Tap Send.

Choose existing picture

  1. Tap the album.
  2. Tap the picture.
  3. Tap Choose.
  4. Tap Send.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Messages.
