Send a picture from device memory

Send a picture from device memory

  1. From the home screen, select Applications.
  2. Select Gallery.
  3. Select a gallery.
  4. Long press a photo.
  5. Select Share (located in the lower-left).
  6. Select one of the following options.

Take and send a new picture

  1. From the home screen, select Applications.
  2. Select Camera.
  3. Ensure Camera mode is selected (located in the upper-right).
  4. Aim then select camera icon (located on the right) to take the picture.
  5. Select the image viewer (located in the lower-right).
  6. Select Share (located in the lower-left).
    Note If necessary, touch the image to display the image options.
  7. Select one of the following options.

 

 

 

AllShare

Note To share media with other DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) certified devices, they must be connected to the same WiFi network and may need to be configured for sharing. Refer to the Equipment manufacturer for assistance.

  1. If prompted to connect to a Wi-Fi network, select OK.
    Note If necessary, select and connect to an available Wi-Fi network.
  2. Select a device.

Bluetooth

  1. If prompted to enable Bluetooth, select Turn on.
  2. Select Scan devices.
    Note To appear in the Bluetooth devices list, the recipient's device must be discoverable.
  3. Select a device.
    Note To complete the transfer, the recipient must accept the file.
  4. If prompted, select Accept.

Email

  1. If presented, select one of the following image sizes:
    • Small
    • Medium
    • Large
    • Original
  2. In the To field, enter the email address(es) / contact(s).
    Note As the recipient's email address is entered, a list of matching contacts may appear and can be selected at any time.
    1. To add a Carbon Copy or Blind Carbon Copy, press the Menu button.
    2. Select Add Cc/Bcc.
    3. From the Cc / Bcc field, enter the recipient's email address.
      Note As the recipient's email address is entered, a list of matching contacts may appear and can be selected at any time.
  3. In the Subject field, enter the subject text.
  4. In the Compose Mail field, enter the message.
  5. Select Send (located in the lower-left).

Gmail

  1. From the To field, enter the recipient's email address.
    Note As the recipient's email address is entered, a list of matching contacts may appear and can be selected at any time.
  2. From the Subject field, enter a subject.
  3. From the Compose Mail field, enter a message.
  4. Select Send (envelope icon in the upper-right).

Picasa

  1. From the Caption field, enter a caption.
  2. From the Account field, select the drop down menu.
  3. Select the appropriate account.
  4. From the Album field, select the drop down menu.
  5. Select an album.
    1. To create a new album, select the plus (+) symbol.
    2. From the Enter album title field, enter a title.
    3. Select one of the following then select Create:
      • Public
      • Unlisted
  6. Select Upload.

Messaging

  1. From the To field, enter a 10-digit mobile number or a contact name.
    Note As the number / contact is entered, a matching contact may appear and can be selected at any time.
    Note Alternately, select Recent, Contacts, or Group (located below the To field), select a contact(s), then select Add.
  2. To add a subject, press the Menu button.

  3. Select Add subject.
  4. Enter a subject.
  5. From the Type to compose field, enter a message.
  6. Select Send (located in the lower-right).
