TTY settings - Apple® iPhone® 4S

TTY Settings allow Text Telephone devices (TTYs) to be enabled so that deaf and hard of hearing customers can use the telephone by utilizing a visual, instead of auditory, mode of communication.

Note To determine Device Software Version, refer to View Software Version.

  1. From the home screen, select Settings.
    Settings
  2. Select Phone.
    Phone
  3. Drag the TTY switch left or right to enable/disable TTY settings.
    Note TTY settings are enabled if set to On
    TTY settings switch

  1. From the home screen, select Settings.
  2. Select Phone.
  3. Select the TTY switch to enable/disable.
    Note Enabled when the switch is in the green position.
