Transfer Pictures/Videos - Spectrum™ by LG

This helps when you want to transfer or move your picture/video files between your device and a computer/PC. Our Troubleshooting Assistant can help you with other device issues if you aren't currently using the tool.

Only DRM free / unprotected video can be transferred via this method. DRM protected content does not play on this device.

  1. Connect the device to a computer with the supplied USB cable.
  2. From a home screen, pull down the window shade (top of the screen) then select USB connected.

From a Computer to the Device

  1. From File Explorer / Finder on the computer, create a new video folder in Removable Disk (X:).
    Removable Disk (X:) represents the SD Card installed in the device. This name may vary.
  2. Use the computer to copy video files into the newly created folder.
  3. To further organize files, create a subfolder in the newly created video folder and copy desired video files into it.
  4. When the transfer is complete return to the handset, pull down the window shade (top of the screen) then select the ongoing USB connection type.

  5. Select Charge only then select Done.

  6. Disconnect the USB cable from the computer.

From the Device to a Computer

  1. From File Explorer / Finder on the computer, create a new video folder in Libraries / Videos (Movies, My Videos) folder.
  2. Use the computer to copy video files into the newly created folder.
  3. To further organize files, create a subfolder in the newly created video folder and copy desired video files into it.
  4. When the transfer is complete return to the handset, pull down the window shade (top of the screen) then select the ongoing USB connection type.
