International CDMA - Apple® iPhone® 4S

Note Turning off International CDMA while roaming internationally may improve poor messaging or data service on a GSM network.

Note Turning on or off International CDMA is only available on a device using software version iOS 5.1 or later. To determine the device software version, refer to View Software Version.

  1. From the home screen, select Settings.
  2. Select General.
  3. Select Cellular.
  4. Drag the Cellular Data switch left or right to enable cellular data.
  5. Select Roaming.
  6. Ensure the Voice Roaming switch is in the On position.
  7. Drag the International CDMA switch left or right to enable/disable International CDMA roaming.
    On
    International CDMA enabled
    Off
    International CDMA disabled

  1. From the home screen, select Settings.
  2. Select Cellular.
  3. Select Roaming.
  4. Ensure the Voice Roaming switch is enabled.
    Note Enabled when the switch is in the green position.
  5. Select the International CDMA switch to enable/disable international CDMA roaming.
    Note Enabled when the switch is in the green position.
