Note To determine the device software version, refer to View Software Version.

  1. From the home screen, select Settings.

  3. Select Keyboard.
    Keyboard
  4. Drag the switch left or right to enable or disable.
    Note The keyboard option is enabled when set to On.
    • Auto-Capitalization
    • Auto-Correction
    • Check Spelling
    • Enable Caps Lock
    • '.' Shortcut
    Keyboard Options
  5. Select International Keyboards.

  6. Select or add a keyboard.

  1. From the home screen, select Settings.
  2. Select General.
  3. Select Keyboard.
  4. Select the switches to enable or disable.
    Enabled when the switch is in the green position.
    • Auto-Capitalization
    • Auto-Correction
    • Check Spelling
    • Enable Caps Lock
    • '.' Shortcut
  5. Select Keyboards.
  6. Select the current keyboard language.
  7. Select the Software Keyboard Layout.
    Selected when a check mark is present.
    • QWERTY
    • AZERTY
    • QWERTZ
  8. Select the Hardware Keyboard Layout (e.g. U.S. German, French, etc.).
    Selected when a check mark is present.
  9. Select Keyboards (located in the upper-left corner).
  10. If desired, select Add New Keyboard.
  11. Select the keyboard (e.g. English (Canada), Arabic, etc.).
