Set Up Corporate Email (Exchange ActiveSync®) - BlackBerry® Q10

Note The steps below outline the process for setting up a corporate account via Microsoft® Exchange Activesync®. To setup an account associated with a BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES), refer to Enterprise Activation for assistance.

Note Contact your Exchange/IT administrator for assistance with server information and credentials.

  1. From the home screen, select Settings.
    Note If not available, swipe down from the top of the display (where the time is located).
  2. Select Accounts.
  3. Select Add Account (located at the bottom; to the right of the 'Back' arrow).
    Note If not available, skip to step 4.
  4. Select Advanced ( Advanced icon located at the bottom).
  5. Select Microsoft® Exchange Activesync®.
  6. Enter the appropriate information into the following fields:
    Note Available settings may vary depending upon account type.
    • Description
    • Domain
    • Username
    • Email Address
    • Password
    • Server Address
    • Port
    • Use SSL
      Note Enabled when the On/Off switch is set to On On switch icon.
    • Use VPN
      Note Enabled when the On/Off switch is set to On On switch icon.
    • Use Push
      Note Enabled when the On/Off switch is set to On On switch icon.
    • Sync Interval
      • 15 Minutes
      • 30 Minutes
      • 1 Hour
      • 2 Hours
      • 4 Hours
      • 24 Hours
      • Manual
    • Sync Timeframe
      • 1 Day
      • 3 Days
      • 7 Days
      • 14 Days
      • 30 Days
  7. Select Next (located in the upper-right).
  8. Select the On/Off switch for any of the following to enable/disable:
    Note Available settings may vary depending upon account type.
    • Sync Email
    • Sync Contacts
    • Sync Calendar
    • Sync Tasks
    • Sync Memos
  9. Select Done (located in the upper-right).
  10. If presented, enter a password into the 'Password' and 'Confirm password' fields then select OK.
    Note The password is utilized to access and secure the device.
