Automatic Restore - Moto X™

Note If attempting to determine whether a third party app is the cause of an Operating System or App issue, ensure that Automatic restore is disabled prior to a performing a hard (factory) reset.

  1. From a home screen, select Apps Apps icon (located at the bottom).
  2. From the 'APPS' tab, select Settings.
  3. From the 'PERSONAL' section, select Backup & reset.
  4. From the 'BACKUP & RESTORE' section, ensure 'Back up my data' is selected (checked).
    Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
  5. Select Automatic restore.
    Note Enabled when a check mark is present.
