SIM Card - Inserting/Removing - Casio® G'zOne Commando™ 4G LTE

Note Instructions on Inserting/Removing your SIM can help with activation issues/errors, browser connection problems, and a blank/frozen screen. Our Troubleshooting Assistant can help you with other device issues if you aren't currently using the tool.

Note Do not attempt to insert or remove the SIM card with the battery still installed in the device. Doing so can harm the SIM card and/or the device.

Inserting the SIM Card

  1. Ensure the device is powered off.
    1. To power off, press and hold the Power button.

    2. Select Power off.

    3. Select OK.
      Note Allow several seconds for the device to power off.

  2. Unlock the battery cover.
    Note Slide the switch to the FREE position.

  3. Remove the battery cover.
    Note Insert your finger into the groove (1) and pull up on the back cover in the direction of the arrow (2). When the back cover is loose, pull it in the direction of the arrow (3).

  4. Slide the Battery Lock to the right or FREE position (1). Insert your finger into the groove (2) and pull up and remove the battery (3).

  5. Lift the SIM card cover marked Open.

  6. Insert the SIM card into the SIM card slot.

  7. Close SIM card cover by pressing down until it clicks in place.

  8. Slide the battery into the device by aligning the battery contacts with the connectors in the battery compartment (1) and press down (2) until it fits firmly in place.

  9. Slide the battery lock to the left or LOCK position.

  10. Insert the battery cover tabs into the slots (1) and press the back cover down (2).

  11. Press down hard on all sides of the battery cover.

  12. Lock the battery cover.
    Note Slide the switch to the LOCK position.

Removing the SIM Card

  1. Ensure the device is powered off.

  2. Unlock the battery cover.
    Note Slide the switch to the FREE position.

  3. Remove the battery cover.
    Note Insert your finger into the groove (1) and pull up on the back cover in the direction of the arrow (2). When the back cover is loose, pull it in the direction of the arrow (3).

  4. Slide the Battery Lock to the right or FREE position (1). Insert your finger into the groove (2) and pull up and remove the battery (3).

  5. Open SIM card cover.
  6. Remove the SIM card by pulling it out to the right.
  7. Close the SIM card cover marked Open.
