Auto Reject Calls - Samsung Galaxy S® III

Note Call block feature allows the user to prevent the device from responding to a call. This can be configured for both incoming and outgoing, all unknown calls, a specific number, or all callers who meet defined criteria entered by the user.

Enable Call Block
Edit Call Block List
Disable/Delete Call Block for Specific Number

 

Enable Call block
  1. From a home screen, tap Phone (located in the lower-left).
    Note If not available, navigate Apps > Phone.
  2. Tap the menu key.
  3. From the Menu, tap Call Settings.
  4. From Call settings, tap Call block and select one of the following options:
    Off
    Disables Call block mode.
    All Numbers
    Rejects all incoming calls. A red phone icon displays on the status bar.
    Call block list only
    Rejects specific numbers from the Call block list.

NoteWhen this feature is enabled, any incoming calls that are rejected are sent to voicemail, and the device does not ring or respond. The call log will display the incoming call with a blue 'no' symbol indicating that the call was blocked.

Edit Call Block List
  1. From a home screen, tap Phone (located in the lower-left).
    Note If not available, navigate Apps > Phone.
  2. Tap the menu key.
  3. From the Menu, tap Call Settings.
  4. From Call settings, tap Call block list.
  5. To add a new number to the Call block list, tap Create.
  6. Choose a number from contacts or call logs by tapping the contact icon.
  7. To refine the block, tap Match Criteria and select one of the following options:
    Exactly the same as
    Block a specific phone number.
    Starts with, Ends with, or Includes
    Block all numbers containing a specific sequence( i.e. all numbers from an Area Code).
  8. Tap Save to add the number to the Call block list.

Disable/Delete Call Block for Specific Number
  1. From a home screen, tap Phone (located in the lower-left).
    Note If not available, navigate Apps > Phone.
  2. Tap the menu key.
  3. From the Menu, tap Call Settings.
  4. From Call settings, tap Call block list.
  5. From Call block list, uncheck the box next to the desired number to disable blocking.
    Note This disables the block and does not delete the entry.
  6. To delete a specific number from the Call block list:
    1. Tap the Trash Icon.
    2. Check the box next to the desired number.
    3. Tap delete.
