Call and Message Blocking - My Verizon

To add a free temporary block to stop unwanted calls and messages, view this information. Our Troubleshooting Assistant can help you with device issues if you aren't currently using the tool.

Call & Message Blocking is a temporary feature that lasts 90 days. After this period, the block has to be reapplied. For a permanent solution, subscribe to the FamilyBase service.

Navigate: My Verizon > My Plans & Services > Manage Verizon Family Safeguards & Controls.

Add Call & Message Blocking Feature
Add a Phone Number
Remove a Phone Number

 

Add Call & Message Blocking Feature

  1. From the Call & Message Blocking section, click Add Now.
  2. Enter the 10-digit phone number(s) you wish to block then click Submit.
    Only 5 phone numbers can be blocked.
  3. Click OK.

Add a Phone Number

  1. Click View Details & Edit (located on the right in the Call & Message Blocking section).
  2. Enter the 10-digit phone number then click Submit.
    Only 5 phone numbers can be blocked.
  3. Click OK.

Remove a Phone Number

  1. Click View Details & Edit (located on the right in the Call & Message Blocking section).
  2. Select a phone number then press the Delete key on the computer keyboard.
  3. Click Submit.
  4. Click OK.
