By telling us the manufacturer, model and condition of your device, we can appraise its value. Then we'll send you a self-addressed, prepaid envelope. Once you receive the envelope, return the device within 30 days, and we’ll send you a Verizon Wireless electronic gift card for the appraised value.Back to top
Your submission ID is the confirmation number you receive once you complete your online submission to trade in your device. You'll need to know your submission ID to check the status of your trade.
You can find your submission ID in the confirmation email you received after you completed your online submission. The email contains your submission ID, as well as important information about how to ship your device.

Most devices allow you to erase all of your personal data - your contact list, photos, text messages, etc. - and reset the device to its factory settings. Refer to the user guide for your device, the manufacturer's website, or follow the link displayed upon completion of your trade-in submission for instructions.
Please make sure to remove any user locks or set passwords to 0000 before you submit your device.
Yes. You will not receive a Verizon Wireless electronic gift card for your device if it is still active with a wireless carrier. Consult with your wireless carrier about how to deactivate the device you would like to trade in.Back to top
Unless you indicated during the appraisal process that the battery wouldn’t be included, you’ll need to send your device and battery. Follow the instructions included with your shipping materials to properly package your battery.
Do not ship the charger, SD card, SIM card, or other accessories with your device. No trade-in value will be provided for these items and they will not be returned if submitted.
Your Verizon Wireless electronic gift card will be delivered electronically to the email address you provided during the online submission within two weeks from the time we receive your device.Back to top
No, not at this time. However, you can use your electronic gift card towards the purchase of an accessory or device at verizonwireless.com or at a Verizon Wireless Communications store near you or to pay your bill online at My Verizon.Back to top
When we receive your device, we check to ensure it matches the information you provided during the online submission. If the device doesn’t match the description or if it wasn’t submitted within 30 days, you may receive less than the appraised value we indicated during your online submission. Additionally, if you claimed a promotion but the device that you sent us is not eligible for the promotion, we will provide you with the trade-in value for the device, excluding the promotion. After thoroughly clearing/removing personal data from the devices we receive, our first priority is to renew and reuse the device. When wireless devices cannot be renewed and must be recycled, we adhere to a zero landfill policy, to keep e-waste out of landfills.Back to top
