  1. What is the Device Payment Program?

    The Device Payment Program is a payment plan that lets you purchase a new, full-priced smartphone, tablet or the Samsung Galaxy Camera™ and pay for it in 12 monthly installments. Beginning 7/13/14, the Device Payment Program will no longer be available for new orders. If you’d like to purchase a new phone or tablet on an installment plan, you may be eligible to participate in our Verizon Edge program. Visit our Verizon Edge FAQs to learn more.

  2. I heard the Device Payment Program will no longer be available. What happens if I’m on a Device Payment Plan now?

    Beginning 7/13/14, the Device Payment Program will no longer be available for new orders. If you’re on a Device Payment Plan now, you can continue that payment plan until your balance is paid in full.

    If you’d like to purchase a new phone or tablet on an installment plan in the future, you may be eligible to participate in our Verizon Edge program. Visit our Verizon Edge FAQs to learn more.

  3. Are there any additional charges for the Device Payment Program?

    Yes, there’s a finance charge of $2/month for 12 months or until your balance is paid in full, whichever comes first.

  4. Can I pay off my Device Payment Program balance early?

    Yes, the balance can be paid in full at any time during the payment period.

  5. If I pay off my Device Payment Program balance early, what happens to the future monthly finance charges?

    When a balance is paid in full, future finance charges won't be incurred.

  6. Am I required to keep making my monthly payment for the Device Payment Program even if I cancel my wireless service?

    Yes, if you voluntarily disconnect your wireless service, you’ll continue to be billed monthly until your balance for the Device Payment Program is paid in full.
