  1. What is the Device Payment Program?

    The Device Payment Program is a payment plan that lets you purchase a new full priced smartphone, tablet or the Samsung Galaxy Camera™ and pay for it in 12 equal monthly installments. With this option, you can start using your smartphone, tablet or camera right away with a lower upfront cost.

  2. Are there any additional charges for the Device Payment Program?

    Yes, there’s a charge of $2.00 per payment for 12 months or until your balance is paid in full, whichever comes first.

  3. How can I participate in the Device Payment Program?

    You can purchase up to two qualifying devices through the Device Payment Program at any Verizon Wireless store*. Currently, smartphones and tablets with a retail price of at least $349.99 and the Samsung Galaxy Camera™ are eligible.

    *Does not include Premium Retailer stores or other third party retailers.

  4. Is there a limit to the number of devices I can purchase with the Device Payment Program?

    If you’re eligible, you can currently purchase up to two qualifying devices at a time with the Device Payment Program. Once the balance under one Device Payment Plan is paid in full, you may be eligible to purchase another qualifying device under the program.

  5. How do I know if I’m eligible for the Device Payment Program?

    A representative at any Verizon Wireless store* can determine if you’re eligible.

  6. How will I be billed for my Device Payment Program?

    The first payment and a $2 charge is due at the time of purchase. Subsequent charges will appear on your monthly Verizon Wireless bill and will be listed separately from your other charges.

  7. Is there a minimum purchase amount for the Device Payment Program?

    Yes, qualifying devices must be $349.99 or more per device, after all discounts and promotions and before taxes are applied.

    No, accessories aren’t currently eligible for the Device Payment Program.

  9. Can I pay off my Device Payment Program balance early?

    Yes, the balance can be paid in full at any time during the payment period.

  10. If I pay off my Device Payment Program balance early, what happens to the future monthly finance charges?

    When a balance is paid in full, future charges will not be incurred.

  11. Do I continue to pay my payment monthly even if I cancel my service?

    Yes, if you voluntarily disconnect your wireless service, you’ll continue to be billed monthly until your balance is paid in full.
