3-Way Calling FAQs
  1. What is 3-Way Calling?

    With 3-Way Calling you can talk with two people at the same time with a three-way conversation on your mobile phone. Airtime and other charges, which may include toll or long distance charges, will apply for all simultaneous calls until you end one call.

  2. How do I set up 3-Way Calling?

    To initiate 3-Way Calling:

    1. While on the first call, dial the 10-digit number of the second person.
    2. Press the Call button. The first person is automatically put on hold while the call is made.
    3. When the second person answers, press the Call button to create a 3-Way Call.
    4. If the second person doesn't answer, press the Call button twice to end the connection and go back to the first person.
    5. To end both conversations completely, hang up.

  3. Can I turn a call waiting call into a 3-Way call?

    No, but you do have the option to speak to the second caller by pressing the Call button. To return to the first call, press the Call button again. To switch between the two calls, press the Call button.

  4. What are the airtime charges for 3-Way Calling?

    Airtime charges apply for all three calls while all parties remain on the line in accordance with your Calling Plan.

  5. What happens if someone calls while I'm on a 3-Way Call?

    If someone tries to call you while a 3-Way call is in progress, the caller will either hear a busy signal or be forwarded to your voice mail. If you have activated call forwarding, the call will be forwarded immediately.

  6. While on a 3-Way call, how do you release one call and continue with the other?

    To disconnect one or both parties, ask them to hang up.
