3-Way Calling FAQs
  1. What is 3-Way Calling?

    With 3-Way Calling you can talk with two people at the same time on your mobile phone. Airtime and other charges, which may include toll or long distance charges, will apply for all simultaneous calls until you end one call.

  2. What are the charges for 3-Way Calling?

    There are no extra fees to use 3-Way Calling. However, if you don’t have unlimited minutes, airtime charges apply for all 3 calls while each person is on the line. For example, if you talk for 10 minutes on a 3-Way Call, you’ll be charged for 20 minutes of talk time.

  3. How do I start a 3-Way call?

    To use 3-Way Calling:

    1. Call a number you want to participate in a 3-Way Call with.
    2. While on the first call, call the 10-digit number of the second person.
    3. Tap the Call button.

      Note: The first person is automatically put on hold while the call is made.

    4. When the second person answers, tap the Call button to create a 3-Way Call.
    5. If the second person doesn't answer, tap the Call button twice to end the connection and go back to the first person.
    6. To end both conversations completely, hang up.

  4. While on a 3-Way call, how do you end one call and continue with the other?

    To disconnect one or both parties, ask them to hang up.

  5. Can I turn a call waiting call into a 3-Way call?

    No, but you do have the option to speak to the second caller by tapping the Call button. To switch between the two calls, tap the Call button or Swap / Switch button.

  6. What happens if someone calls while I'm on a 3-Way Call?

    If someone tries to call you while a 3-Way call is in progress, the caller will either hear a busy signal or be forwarded to your voice mail. If you have activated call forwarding, the call will be forwarded immediately.
