  1. What is Call Forwarding?

    With Call Forwarding, you can forward your mobile calls to another phone number, like your home or office number. Call Forwarding is included with all plans. It’s is also known as "Immediate Call Forwarding."

  5. Can I use Call Forwarding while I’m outside of the Verizon Wireless network?

    No, Call Forwarding isn’t available if you’re outside our Enhanced Services Rate and Coverage Area.

  6. How do I turn Call Forwarding off if I don’t have my phone with me?

  7. I activated Call Forwarding on my phone. Why are people getting a busy tone when calling me?

    If callers are receiving a busy tone, you may want to check that the call was forwarded to the correct phone number, using *72 and the forwarding phone number including the area code (e.g, *72-555-555-5555). Sometimes additional buttons are accidentally pressed while setting up call forwarding. If that happens, the number can’t be recognized.

    Note: Calls can’t be forwarded to international numbers.

  8. How does billing work for Call Forwarding?

    Airtime charges apply to all forwarded calls, even if the calls are forwarded to a landline. There’s no monthly fee for Call Forwarding on most plans, however, a fee may apply on some retired plans. Long distance isn’t charged on forwarded calls if you have a plan that includes long distance.
