Your Share Name ID will appear on the Caller ID of the person you’re calling if they subscribe to a Caller Name ID service with their carrier (e.g., Verizon’s Caller Name ID or Caller ID with Name). However, if the person you're calling has your mobile number saved in their contact list, that stored name will appear instead of your Share Name ID.
If you don’t want your Share Name ID to appear, you can block it with Caller ID Blocking or by dialing *67 before the 10-digit number you’re calling. These services will identify you as “Restricted” on phones with Caller ID.
