  1. What is Redbox® Instant by Verizon?

    Redbox Instant by Verizon is a movie service that brings you Hollywood’s newest releases, along with a rich catalog of popular movies. You can watch movies on disc and by streaming over the Internet on your computer, mobile device or home entertainment device. 

    With a monthly subscription, you can enjoy unlimited streaming* of thousands of popular movies. Plus, you can reserve four new-release DVDs (or Blu-ray Disc™ for an additional cost) from Redbox kiosks.

    Without a subscription, you can still use Redbox Instant by Verizon to reserve a DVD or Blu-ray Disc for pick up at your local Redbox kiosk.

  3. How much does Redbox® Instant by Verizon cost?

    There are three different service options for Redbox Instant by Verizon:

    • Monthly subscription service for $8/month (first month free) includes—

      • Unlimited streaming of popular movies
      • Four monthly DVD credits to more than 42,000 kiosks nationwide
      • Option to upgrade to Blu-ray Disc™ credits for an additional $1/month

        Note: After the one-month free trial ends, the $8/month subscription fee will be automatically charged to the credit card you enter when you register for Redbox Instant by Verizon.

    • Unlimited Streaming Option for $6/month – Includes unlimited streaming of popular movies.

    • Video On-Demand (Prices vary) – Individual VOD movies for rent or purchase. Charges depend on what content you choose. No monthly subscription is required.

    Note: Any subscription, rental or purchase option will require payment by credit card.

  7. Will purchases that I make from the Redbox® Instant by Verizon app be displayed on my wireless bill?

    No, Redbox Instant doesn’t currently offer an option to charge a purchase to your Verizon bill. You’ll need to use a credit card to make a purchase through the app.
