    Verizon Tech Coach is a service that gives you over-the-phone, personalized technical support from experts in Verizon Wireless devices and consumer electronics. Verizon Tech Coach agents can solve most issues in just one call, but if the Verizon Tech Coach agent doesn’t have the answer right away, they will call you back within 24 hours with a solution. In addition, the Verizon Tech Coach agent will make recommendations on how to optimize your device for your lifestyle.

    Verizon Tech Coach also provides online tools, including chat support and a comprehensive interactive device guide, to help you learn how to optimize your device on your own.

  2. What is included with Verizon Tech Coach?

    With Verizon Tech Coach, you’ll receive personalized service from device experts who will help you with your technical device needs, including how to connect it with other products and services.  

    For example, a Verizon Tech Coach agent can help you:

    • Optimize your device’s performance (battery, speed, etc.)
    • Find the latest third party apps to use your device to its fullest potential (email, browsing, games, etc.)
    • Connect with networks and other electronic devices in/out of the home
    • Transfer your contacts, photos, and videos from one device to another

  5. Can I purchase Verizon Tech Coach at any time?

    Yes, you can purchase Verizon Tech Coach at any time for $7 per month per device.  If you are enrolled in Total Equipment Coverage (TEC), you can add Verizon Tech Coach for an additional $2 per month for phones and smartphones and $0.01 per month for iPhone® and tablets. Verizon Tech Coach is included for Total Mobile Protection subscribers.

    To enroll in Total Mobile Protection, which includes Verizon Tech Coach, Total Equipment Coverage and Verizon Support & Protection Premium, you must enroll within 30 days of device activation.

    iPhone is a registered trademark of Apple Inc. Total Equipment Coverage and Extended Warranty are not available in Florida.
