  1. What was the Multimedia Messaging / PIX Place Online Album?

    The Multimedia Messaging / PIX Place Online Album was an online service that let you send, receive and manage your pictures and videos online.

    It was included with each activation of multimedia messaging device. However, now the Multimedia Messaging / PIX Place Online Album has been upgraded to Verizon Cloud.

    Please refer to the Discontinuation / Upgrade to Verizon Cloud section below for more information about this upgrade.

  1. When was Multimedia Messaging / PIX Place Online Album discontinued?

    On 10/1/14, Multimedia Messaging / PIX Place Online Album was officially discontinued. Pictures or videos that were stored in the Multimedia Messaging / PIX Place Online Album are no longer available to view or download.

    All Multimedia Messaging / PIX Place Online Album Premium subscriptions were canceled on 10/1/14.

  3. Where can I upload content now that I can’t access my Multimedia Messaging / PIX Place Online Album?

    You can upload content directly to Verizon Cloud using your phone, if you have a Verizon Cloud account. You can then manage your content from a computer or the web.

    Note: Prepaid accounts aren’t eligible to move from PIX Place to Verizon Cloud.

    To sign up for Verizon Cloud:

    1. Go to our Verizon Cloud page on your computer.
    2. Click Get Cloud Storage.
    3. Sign in with your User ID and Password for My Verizon.

      Note: If you don’t have a My Verizon account yet, you can sign up for My Verizon online for free.

    4. Click Add next to the storage place you’d like to sign up for and click Next at the bottom of the screen.
    5. Follow the onscreen prompts to finish adding Verizon Cloud to your account.

    You've successfully signed up for Verizon Cloud.

  4. How do I upload to Verizon Cloud from my basic phone?

    You can upload pictures and videos to your Verizon Cloud account directly from your basic phone.

    To do this, use the same To Online Album or To PIX Place option you used with the Multimedia Messaging / PIX Place Online Album:

    1. Select the picture or video you want to upload.
    2. Select Options.
    3. Scroll down and select To PIX Place or To Online Album.

    You've successfully uploaded your picture or video to Verizon Cloud.

  5. How do I upload and manage Verizon Cloud with my computer?

    You can access Verizon Cloud online using the Cloud website. You can also download and install the desktop app from our Verizon Cloud page.

    For more information on setting up and using the desktop app, refer to the Verizon Cloud Desktop Application User Guide (PDF*).

    To view the PDF file, you may need to download the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.

  6. How do I upgrade my Verizon Cloud storage plan?

    You can upgrade your Cloud storage plan online:

    1. Go to the Change Features page in My Verizon.
    2. Click Add next to the Cloud storage level you’d like to have.
    3. Click Next at the bottom of the page.
    4. If prompted, select when you’d like the change to go into effect on your account.
    5. Review your changes for accuracy, and click Submit.

    You’ve successfully upgraded your Verizon Cloud storage plan.

    Note: You can also upgrade your storage from within the Verizon Cloud app for your smartphone or tablet. Go to Settings and tap Upgrade. Then follow the onscreen prompts.

  7. How do I use Verizon Cloud if my phone isn’t picture/video capable?

    If your phone isn’t picture/video capable, you’ll no longer be able to send or receive pictures or videos using the Multimedia Messaging / PIX Place Online Album service.
