Certified Like-New Activation and Shipping Guide: Wireless Home Phone

This guide contains general instructions on activating a Certified Like-New Replacement Wireless Home Phone and shipping your defective one back to us.

Note: Once you return your device, it cannot be sent back to you.

Step 1: Prepare your replacement Wireless Home Phone.

  1. Turn off your defective Wireless Home Phone and remove the battery, antenna and power cable.

  2. Install the battery.

  3. Connect the antenna.

  4. Plug in the power cable.

    Plug in the power cable.

  5. Insert one end of your phone cable into one of the telephone ports at the back of the Wireless Home Phone and the other end into a home telephone or home telephone base unit.

    Note: Do not connect your Wireless Home Phone directly to your telephone wall jack.

  6. Press the Power button to turn on your Wireless Home Phone.

Step 2: Activate service on your replacement Wireless Home Phone.

If you live in one of the following states, complete the steps below:
  • Iowa
  • Michigan
  • Minnesota
  • Nebraska
  • Wisconsin
  1. Dial (877) 807-4646 from any phone and follow the prompts to activate your service. Have your Customer Receipt with you because you will be asked to confirm information from it.

  2. Dial *228 from a phone connected to your Wireless Home Phone.

  3. Press 1 and follow the prompts.
For all other states:
  1. Dial *228 from a phone connected to your Wireless Home Phone.

  2. Press 1 and follow the prompts.

Step 3: Ship your defective Wireless Home Phone.

Note: You must return your defective Wireless Home Phone within 10 days to avoid being charged full retail price for your replacement device, which may exceed $150.

Follow the instructions below to ship your defective Wireless Home Phone.

  1. Remove all accessories from your defective Wireless Home Phone, including battery (if removable), SD card, SIM card, USB cables, etc.

  2. Insert your defective Wireless Home Phone under the film of the cardboard insert found in the shipping box to ensure safe return.

  3. Place the insert, with the defective device under film, back inside the shipping box.

  4. Seal the shipping box and attach the return label.

  5. Drop off the box at the nearest location of the carrier identified on the return shipping label.
