Activating and Setting Up Your Samsung Galaxy Note® 3 – New Customers

This guide is for new Verizon Wireless customers who purchased a Samsung Galaxy Note 3. If you’re an existing Verizon Wireless customer, refer to the Activating and Setting Up Your Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Guide for Existing Customers.

Note: Removing the SIM card from your new phone could delay activation and set up.

To activate and set up your new phone:

  1. Insert the phone’s battery and attach the back cover. If you’re not sure how to do this, refer to your phone’s user guide.

  2. Turn on the phone by pressing down the Power button on the top-right side of the phone. Refer to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Turning the Phone On and Off simulation for step-by-step visual instructions on how to do this.

  3. Follow the onscreen steps to complete activation and set up of your phone.
