How much does it cost to use the Softcard?
Softcard is a free app. But like many apps, it uses wireless data and messaging which may incur charges based on your Verizon Wireless plan.
How does the Softcard protect my payment credentials?
Your payment credentials are stored in a chip called the Secure Element contained within your compatible smartphone (or appropriate accessory). The Secure Element is isolated from your phone’s main operating system and hardware. It’s designed to allow access only to authorized programs, like Softcard, to initiate a transaction.

How many cards can I add to the Softcard?
There’s no limit to the number of eligible cards you can add or use for payments with Softcard.
How do I change the payment card I want to use in Softcard?
The payment card that’s currently selected will be displayed in the payment card carousel.
To change the payment card, swipe left or right to select a payment card. The payment card you land on will be “Ready to Pay.”

Softcard works with American Express, American Express Serve®, Chase and Wells Fargo. If you have a debit card, credit card1, or U.S. bank account, you can link it to your American Express Serve Account.
