Wireless Charging Quick Circle Folio Case for LG G3 - Black is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from A decent case, depending on what you're looking for... I think this is a decent case. I have to admit I decided to get it because of the quick circle novelty and wireless charging. Protection: I have to say that most cases I've owned for phones over the years have been rather thin. I mention thin cases, because I know that this is certainly not the most protective case out there. I've generally been very careful with my phones, so although I've had a few drops over the years, I believe I've only had a minor scratch on one unprotected screen as a result, so I consider myself lucky in that respect. However, if you are primarily concerned about protection, you probably wouldn't consider this case, and you'd be best to consider those bulky, thick rubber types instead quite frankly. But if you are not the clumsy type and might drop the phone a few times from a short distance to the ground, this case should be fine. I think the front flap would be more protective than the back of it fell flat, just an opinion, however there's always the possibility that the flap would flip open before it falls and hits, so there is that concern. The flap: It's taken me some time getting used to a case with a front flap, but it is growing on me. I was concerned with how the flap would hold up, knowing that I would be folding the flap over completely when I really needed to use the apps, browser, navigation, etc. I suppose it's too early to tell, but so far the flap seems fairly solid from that standpoint. I also knew I was going to be placing the phone in a holder in my car, so the circle case is not ideal because of the flap. If I know I'll be using the phone in the car for GPS navigation, I'll fold over the top flap before locking it in my car holder. Again, I had some initial concerns about the flap ripping off over time, but it's just too early to tell. All I can say is that it seems solid enough so far. I do like the fact that I can carry on a conversation with the flap closed, as it prevents massive oil residue on the screen from your face. The circle: The circle is an open hole (unlike some off-brands with a clear plastic layer) with a metal ring, so I decided to add a cheap film layer to place on top of the screen, although how much those really protect is another discussion altogether. I've seen some quick circle cases, quite a bit cheaper, that are probably more protective, but those didn't offer the wireless charging. Do I use the circle? Yes, to check time and temp, and dismiss/answer calls mostly. I haven't found using any of the circle 'apps' beneficial at this point, although I might use the camera if I experience one of those 'moments' where you need it right away. So far, all of those moments seem to occur when I don't have my phone with me, so who knows, but the camera does work for quick shots using the circle app. I tried the messenger in the circle, but decided it wasn't as usable as I hoped, and switched back to my preferred 'chomp' messenger. However, by tapping the circle you will briefly be able to see some notification information (helpful), but you'll have to open the flap to actually check the details, open your email, etc.. Now, the screen has developed a noticeable ring (from the circle) on the screen when I open the flap. Yes I have the screen protection film, but you'll be seeing the the ring when you look at the screen, especially when the background is darker. You'll have to decide for yourself if the ring bothers you. I guess I can live with it, as I'm not big on watching full feature films on my phone. The circle on the flap has a metal ring which allows for a neat effect when you tap it and the screen turns on. Wireless Charging: I've heard some people break their usb connector on the phone, and that is one reason to use a wireless charger. This has never happened to me, so it wasn't a concern. I did buy a cheap QI charger since I figured I should give it a shot, and hey, I have the case for it. Well, the wireless charging process is quite a bit slower. Now I know all chargers are not the same, but from what I've read, none of them will be as fast as a direct connection. The one I purchased was actually recommended on a few web sites, but I've found that if I need a quick charge, I'm simply going to have to plug it in. Plugged in directly, I believe this phone charges faster than any smart phone I've ever had. With the wireless charging, to get a 10% increase in power has taken at least 40 minutes. I can get more than 3 times that amount of power increase directly plugged into the wall through the usb port. I didn't have a problem with the phone heating up on the wireless charger, which I've read can be a problem. At this point, I'm disappointed with the wireless charging. Will I try another charger? Perhaps if I can borrow someone else's. So in conclusion, I find the case acceptable, but I generally believe it's overpriced for what you get. I don't know that having the quick circle provides a lot more convenience for me than otherwise, but it's a new thing for me that I'm still getting used to. Perhaps some of the information I've provided will be beneficial for those who are on the fence.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best case available for the G3 It's a bit on the expensive side, but well worth it for the wireless charging capabilities alone and it doesn't add any bulk to the phone. IMO, it's the only case you should consider for the G3.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great accessory for LG3 Works well. Does as advertised. Works very well with Tylt charger. Pricey and does not have magnetic catch to keep flap closed but has great features such as circle apps and wakes phone when opened. Compliments LG3 well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from folio case with wireless charging Nicely made case and allows wireless charging with a charging pad. More importantly, when the cover is folded back, the circle allows the camera and flash to work. The camera can also be used with the cover closed.
