Motorola Moto Gamepad Moto Mod is rated 3.1 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Been waiting since March Just got it, and I love it. Been wanting something like this for android phones for a long time. My only issue is that the battery is only for the device. As for button mapping and it not working with certain games, that's on the software of those games and nothing to do whatsoever with the mod or the mod software. It is a fairly large item, so I don't see myself trying to fit it into my pocket, especially with the phone attached. I really don't know why anyone would. Plus, won't the button presses wake up the phone? Don't know, haven't tried. Overall, I am fairly happy with it. It is the main reason I got this phone in the first place, since this mod was announced back in late March or early April.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from so far ,so great!!! here is my only "cons" if you will. i order this the same day it came out and about two weeks later is on 39% less price. other than that, at first i could not get it to work on some games, but i realized that the setting in the game where not correct. so far i have used it on about 10 games and after i configure the settings on the game for pad control it works great.i have not had any problems with the games crashing or an battery issues. love it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome mod Great mod to use with Emulator apps. No latency as seen with Bluetooth controllers. I am able to play all my childhood N64 games with no issues. The buttons cannot be mapped via the motomod software. But there are plenty of 3rd party apps to take care of that. Great first stab at this motomod. The only thing is I wish the abxy buttons were located above the right thumbstick like on xbox one controller. This is going to make plane travel go by fast.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could be better. Gamepad works great for the most part. The chamfered sticks are an excellent touch and the device feels premium. My problems are the unusually unresponsive D-pad and the slight input lag. About the lag, you would think as a physically connected HID that this wouldn't be a problem; apparently not. And the D-pad needs excessive force to register a press. Everyone is complaining about this so I hope Lenovo fixes this problem.
