Customizing widgets is one of the many features available with the Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system that help to personalize the device.
Users with Ice Cream Sandwich can add resizable widgets to a device’s home screen. To add a widget, locate it on the Widgets tab, then tap, hold and drag to the home screen. To remove a widget, tap, hold and drag to the top of the screen to make it disappear. This makes finding and launching favorite apps, like news or weather updates, simple and quick.
The widgets can be resized to customize the experience even more and avoid crowding on the home screen simply by tapping the widget and dragging the corners to crop or expand.
Over the past few months, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich has hit several devices, including the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, Lucid by LG and DROID 4 by Motorola. For more about some of the new features of Ice Cream Sandwich, check out Android Authority’s Top 10 Things to Do with ICS.
