GREENVILLE, SC — Bell Atlantic Mobile customers who take advantage of the mobile-to-mobile calling option can now make and receive an unlimited number of calls throughout most of the Carolinas, thanks to a recent expansion of the company's unlimited mobile-to-mobile package.

This newly-expanded mobile-to-mobile option allows DigitalChoice® customers who receive or make a lot of calls to other Bell Atlantic Mobile customers to travel throughout most of the Carolinas and receive or make an unlimited number of local calls, for an additional $10 monthly access fee. In the past, mobile-to-mobile customers could only receive and make unlimited local calls from the area in which they resided.

"The service is ideal for individuals who take their office with them in the car -- sales representatives, contractors, real estate professionals, computer technicians, and others," said Jerry Fountain, vice president of the company's Southeast Region. "It provides a vital tool for maintaining contact with clients and co-workers at all times."

The coverage area encompasses the Midlands and Upstate of South Carolina, and the Piedmont and western region of North Carolina, including Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, Greenwood, Columbia, Charlotte, Hickory, Boone, and Asheville.

"These improvements are just one way of showing our customers how much we appreciate their business," said Fountain. "Customer satisfaction, including offering the best value, is our top priority as we continue to provide outstanding wireless service."

The unlimited mobile-to-mobile package is available to those on Bell Atlantic Mobile's DigitalChoice 225 or higher rate plans. Customers must have Bell Atlantic Mobile wireless long distance to take advantage of this feature.

"We are constantly striving to provide our customers with exceptional wireless service that is best suited to their needs," said Fountain. "The expansion of our mobile-to-mobile coverage area allows those who travel often to enjoy the same benefits while they are on the road as they do in their home town."
